Information on how we are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic

The hand sanitizing station at Siciliano's

By Steve Siciliano

So far, it’s been business as usual at Siciliano’s but our hearts go out to everyone in the Grand Rapids community whose lives are being severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re monitoring the situation closely, and while we’re hoping that business as usual will continue, we recognize that reduced hours or even a complete shutdown are distinct possibilities.

In the meantime, we’re continuing the measures that were implemented to keep our customers and employees safe. The staff is sanitizing frequently touched objects (door handles, counter tops, pens, grain scoops etc.), employees have been instructed not to come to work if they experience flu like symptoms and we have installed a hand sanitizing dispenser for customer use at the sales counter.

If you would prefer to place an order on the phone (616-453-9674) and have us bring your purchase to your vehicle we would be happy to do so. Please keep in mind that filling some phone orders may be time consuming. We will take your phone number and we will notify you when the purchase is ready for pickup. Please call us when you arrive. We will ask you to identify your vehicle and if you are purchasing alcohol we may ask for your ID. We will then run your credit card and place your purchase in your vehicle.

Due to concerns about spreading the virus and in response to Governor Whitmer banning gatherings of 50 or more people, we have canceled the 17th Annual Siciliano’s Homebrew Competition and the Big Brew Day.

This is an anxious time for us all. If you stop by the store in the coming days and weeks, we’ll do our best to make your visit as stress free and safe as possible.
